Two luxury lighting companies join forces
Mariner, the Spanish lighting and furniture brand, has partnered with Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting to capitalize on the two companies’ respective strengths in the luxury residential and hospitality markets. Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting now serves as Mariner’s exclusive distributor for lighting, lamps and luxury home décor, marking Mariner’s return to the North American market. Demand for classic European luxury design is expanding, both companies said in a release. Mariner product includes “exquisite” shapes in cast brass or bronze, with Venetian crystal, fine woods and Spanish alabaster, according to a spokesperson. Fine Art will launch Mariner products at the Fall High Point Market. “For years, Mariner has had great admiration and respect for Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting, for the originality and quality of its products and for having maintained its production in America under high quality standards,” said Jorge Mariner, principal of Mariner. He cited the brands’ shared passion “for quality and design, the production of unique designs through an artisanal work process, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.” “Our companies have so many similarities in history, craftsmanship and attention to detail that marketing and selling Mariner’s exquisite designs alongside our Fine Art brand will be virtually seamless,” René Quintana, principal, Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting, said. “We’re looking forward to the endless possibilities to come from our exciting collaboration.” Two new Fine Art lines, Capri and Mirage, debuted at this High Point market this month.
